As part of Perenco's social responsibility program, Perenco runs the SIAS Health Program (Sistema Integral de Atención en Salud), a community based program providing preventive health services in rural communities in Guatemala. The SIAS Health Program is supporting communities living close to the Xan Camp. Perenco has been instrumental in the construction of new health facilities and has also made available a wide array of medical equipment.

Perenco is also supporting the Guatemalam Ak'Tenamit Medical Association with the provision of fuel for ambulances in the Golfete Region.
